I have one last tasty summery drink recipe that will accompany you through the final remaining warm summer evenings! I know that the first day of fall is technically a little over a month away, but with all of the back-to-school festivities and my first apple picking adventure of the season coming up tomorrow, the fall-lover in me is ready to welcome the season a little ahead of schedule.

Even though I’m ready to shoo away summer berries in favor of a million apple varieties, yesterday was so, so hot and a definite reminder that summer is here for a bit longer. Rather than fight it, I broke out the blender and used some of my remaining summer fruit to create a margarita that I’ve been mentally planning for some time now. The result was the perfect summer evening, back-porch-sitting, sunset-watching drink. Nature obviously agreed, as the sunset last night was one for the books.
This drink is super simple! Just a few handfuls of fruit, a splash of alcohol, a squeeze of lime juice, and some agave nectar to sweeten the deal. Pop everything in the blender, let everything mix together for a few moments, and you’re ready to welcome the summer evening in style.

Happy Wednesday!

- 1 cup peach slices (about 1 peach’s worth of slices)
- ½ cup raspberries
- 1½ ounces gold tequila
- 1 ounce triple sec
- Juice of ½ lime
- Up to 1 tablespoon agave nectar
- Add all of the ingredients except for the agave to a blender. Blend until smooth. Add agave a little at a time, pulsing to combine and tasting between additions, until desired sweetness is reached. Serve over ice. Enjoy!

Such a gorgeous cocktail! I can picture myself back-porching sitting with this beauty in hand, yum!
